Kids Ministry
Our heartfelt desire is for each child to have a truly intimate and personal relationship with Jesus that transcends accumulated head knowledge and becomes an anchor in their life. We challenge our kids to connect with God through worship, prayer and Bible study. We partner with parents to empower them to take on their child’s discipleship at home. Depending on the age of your child, classes will involve prayer, singing, games, crafts, scripture memorization, interactive Bible teaching, and other hands-on activities to help your child learn about Jesus.
All teachers and volunteers are background checked, trained, and evaluated in order to foster a safe and enjoyable environment where parents know their children are safe and secure while growing in the Lord.

As a church, we believe that the spiritual, emotional and physical well being of children is vital. This Child Protection Policy is intended to ensure that church activities involving children are consistent with the teachings and example of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the Christian tradition of nurturing vulnerable children, and to provide compliance with local, state and federal government rules and regulations. The goal of Awana is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God. While it is a serious mission, we believe having fun in the process is a great tool for reaching young people. Awana is a proven way to impact our communities and train children for leadership.
Our theme verse is, Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. We want to come alongside parents to aid in the spiritual development of their children. We work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids. Participants: Children who are age 3 and potty-trained through grade 12. AWANA meets during the school calendar year (August through May) on Sunday evenings from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
